Dr. James Woods, Director of the Herrett Center for Arts and Sciences and Associate Professor of Anthropology at the College of Southern Idaho, presented "Stone Tools and Weapons of Acient Idaho" at the library Friday during a "Brown Bag" program in the Community Room. The program was made possible by a grant from the Idaho Humanities Council and through the support of the Friends of the the Library. Woods demonstrated the skill of knapping -- creating spear and arrow points -- by chipping flakes from obsidian.
