Applying for a Library Card
  1. Library cards are available to residents with proof of address and a photo ID and to non-residents with a valid card from another library. Non-residents without a library card must pay an annual fee of $25.
  2. Patrons under 18 must have a parent/guardian present when patron receives library card.
  3. Replacement cards are $1.
  4. Up to 25 items may be borrowed at a time on one library card.
  5. Patrons without a permanent address can receive a temporary card and check out up to two items.
  6. Most materials can be checked out for up to four weeks with one four-week renewal (if items have not been reserved by another patron).
  7. New books and videos can be checked out for up to two weeks with one two-week renewal (unless reserved).
  8. HELP Hub packs and LEAP totes can be checked out for two weeks.
  9. Items may be renewed by phone or at the library website.  Click on "My Account" on the left side of the web page in the Catalog area.
  10. May apply in person or online (allow 3 working days for processing).
