Applying for a Library Card
- Library cards are available to residents with proof of address and a photo ID and to non-residents with a valid card from another library. Non-residents without a library card must pay an annual fee of $25.
- Patrons under 18 must have a parent/guardian present when patron receives library card.
- Replacement cards are $1.
- Up to 25 items may be borrowed at a time on one library card.
- Patrons without a permanent address can receive a temporary card and check out up to two items.
- Most materials can be checked out for up to four weeks with one four-week renewal (if items have not been reserved by another patron).
- New books and videos can be checked out for up to two weeks with one two-week renewal (unless reserved).
- HELP Hub packs and LEAP totes can be checked out for two weeks.
- Items may be renewed by phone or at the library website. Click on "My Account" on the left side of the web page in the Catalog area.
- May apply in person or online (allow 3 working days for processing).
