BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees is appointed by the Mayor and City Council from among city residents for five year terms. The Board, by Idaho Code, establishes policies and rules for the governance of the Library.

 

Their duties include:

  • adopting a budget for review and approval by the City Council,
  • controlling the expenditures of money budgeted for the Library
  • hiring, supervision, evaluating the Library Director, and
  • exercising powers necessary for the orderly and efficient management of the Library.

 

The Library Board meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Other Information:
