C-SPAN is coming to Coeur d’Alene and they want to talk to local authors, book club members, and others with literary and history interests.
In partnership with Time Warner Cable, Mayor Sandi Bloem and the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce will welcome C-SPAN to town on Monday, November 4 at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library as they kick off a visit to record and feature the city’s history and literary life.
At Monday’s event, C-SPAN representatives will reveal the stories and segments that will be explored by the national network during their weeklong stay. During their time in Coeur d’Alene, C-SPAN representatives will also conduct community and educational outreach.
The stories gathered by the video crews will later be shown on nonfiction book channel Book TV (on C-SPAN2, Time Warner Cable channel 18) and history channel American History TV (on C-SPAN3, Time Warner Cable channel 118) during C-SPAN’s special Coeur d'Alene weekend Dec. 7-8.
